The problem with being resurrected is ANYBODY can become a vampire and then you must endure knowing that idiot forever and ever!

OH and . . . Vampires don't judge people by their appearance. What they want from you is invisible -- unless of course you're gushing blood.

TO SAY THAT IN ANOTHER WAY: There are two sides to every person. The outside, which I completely ignore, and the inside, which tastes utterly delicious.

What "Ravena & The Resurrected" presents is a variety of completely new adventures that don't just take the main character into Seattle's historic underground, where she hopes to escape her highly motivated enemy, but Ravena also dives deep into the cold waters of Puget Sound. Later, the new lair she joins must enter into the woods, on Mercer Island. That's where the clan of vampires and companion werewolves interact with the local wildlife.

WORDS OF CAUTION: Because this is a vampire and werewolf book, there are some very dark elements. There is also one brief sex scene, coupled with a smattering of romantic yearnings. That means "R&R" is highly inappropriate for children. If you buy this book, I hope you laugh out loud through all the humorous places and really feel like you've escaped into all the creative paranormal aspects presented here.

Unbelieving coworkers are left behind when unlikely heroin (pudgy techno nerd) Ravena Doomlah is bitten by a mysterious pearly-haired vampire. Ravena always KNEW the resurrected existed but wished her maker would have been much more handsome (not nearly as hideous-looking) and she desperately would have preferred he would not have abandoned her, as he did.

Ravena soon learns it's difficult to wake up with fangs only to be very alone. Soon she meets human Assassins, who have been undergoing surgery to more effectively torment, enslave and/or completely destroy her kind. Wondering how she will ever make a living while fleeing her enemies, Ravena learns powerful lessons in self reliance. When she decides to join a lair for protection, she learns how little she has in common with ancient resurrected beings who talk reletnlessly about historic events.

Amazingly creative and placed in a modern setting with accurate geographical details, this book is full of action and includes a smattering of fantastical elements that will stretch every reader's imagination.
